The NV008S LRF 850 nm from Pard is a compact and lightweight night vision scope (6.5/13x magnification) that features the Pard-developed 2K 1920x1080 sensor. This sensor provides excellent views in the dark. Together with the 850 nm infrared light, the NV008S LRF 850 nm provides visibility up to 350 meters.

In addition, Pard itself has developed and implemented the Imaging Engine Module algorithm. This piece of software optimizes the image and provides an image quality improvement of up to 20% over the NV008P. In addition, this LRF (Laser Range Finder) version can measure the distance of objects from 3.5 to 1,200 meters. Partly because of this, the Ballistic Calculation function can be used. This function calculates the ballistic trajectory, greatly simplifying the calibration process. The NV008S night vision scope can be used as a handheld as well as a riflescope by means of the supplied mount, with which it can be mounted on a Weaver/Picatinny rail.
 
The NV008S LRF 850 nm records video in AVI format. These video files are displayed at a resolution of 1920x1080 and at 30 frames per second. The Pard night vision goggles also feature a camera with a sensitivity of 0.001 lux, which still provides high-quality recordings in dark conditions. Recordings taken can be transferred to other devices through a Wi-Fi hotspot.
 
The Picture-in-Picture function gives the option of a zoomed-in view of the image in a separate window at the top of the display. Once the Self-activated Recording function is on, the device automatically records a 20-second video clip of the moment before and after a shot.
 
Included is a 18650 3.7V rechargeable battery, which can be quickly and easily replaced after use. A full battery provides enough energy supply for 8 hours.
