Was ons bericht vorige keer al weer een mooie opsteker.... Dan gaat deze er nog een keer overheen! Air Arms en de meeste andere merken, hebben enorm veel problemen met leveren omdat toeleveranciers geen kolven konden/kunnen leveren. Immers: In het geval van kolven zitten de beste producenten allemaal in 'Bella Italia'. En... verflixst noch mal! Bella Italia zat in het centrum van de Covid19 uitbraak in Europa. Daar lag de productie vele maanden stil en er was een grote en echte lockdown. En dat duurde dus even voordat onze Engelse vrienden weer bevoorraad werden met echt mooi houtwerk. Air Arms is immers: Traditioneel, klassiek, mooi en euh.... daar past absoluut geen zielloze kunststof kolf onder. Kunststof is immers een mooi woord voor ... plastic. Gatsie en jakkes: Het enige kunststof wat aan een Air Arms veerbuks zit is..... NIKS NATUURLIJK, of nou ja.... op de Zuigercup na dan. De kolf van elke TX, TX HC of PS is natuurlijk van walnoot hout. Op een enkele buiten ravottende schutter na die liever beuken heeft. Die komen in Nederland echter niet voor.... Walnut rules! Dus: Goed nieuws vrienden... We hebben er weer wat kunnen scoren. En gelukkig net voordat Het Brexit ijzeren gordijn naar beneden klettert! Dat de UK zichzelf zo in een quarantaine heeft gemanoeuvreerd is echt heel vervelend voor ons luchtbuks liefhebbers. Dan gaan de grens slagbomen weer ouderwets dicht en gaan ambtenaren onmiddellijk hun nieuw verkregen macht gebruiken. Conclusie: Meer vertraging en hogere prijzen. Sla dus nu je slag!
